Peter is a writer through and through. When he was just a wee lad of 6, Peter one night spoke out against the bedtime story, asking his Mother if he could tell the story instead. She replied by asking which one he wanted to read…
…And he told her he would just make it up. That pretty much sealed Peter’s fate, and influenced his style. As a modern Author, Peter does view himself as a word-smith, but the much stronger influence on his writing is as a weaver of tales.
Throughout his formative high school years, Peter was a competitive writer, entering two competitions a year with short fiction. From that he walked away with three competitions won, and an honorable mention in a nationwide competition with over 5,000 entries (lesson: Don’t submit a graphic horror story to a high school competition.)
During his twenties, he moved on to writing in the game industry. His most notable creative effort there was working as a game designer and short story author for Cyberpunk CCG, where he published forty short stories during the game’s play arc. After the IWI (the game’s production company) dissolved, Peter spent several years designing a new style of plot arc for his debut Novel, ‘Second Paradigm.’
Peter’s first novel, Second Paradigm – an intricately woven tale of time travel, is currently available on the Amazon website and in select retail outlets. His second novel, ‘Gothier Than Thou’, is in progress; slated for January 2010 publication.
